"Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!"는 흔히 "Let It Snow"로 불리우기도 하는 곡으로, 1945년 7월 작사가 Sammy Cahn과 작곡가 Jule Styne이 태양이 작렬하는 California의 Holywood에서 서늘한 겨울을 상상하며 작곡한 노래이다.

특이하게도 이 곡의 가사 어디에도 Christmas 나 Holiday가 언급되지 않음에도 불구하고, 겨울을 테마로 했기에 연말 시즌에 라디오 방송국에서 흔하게 선택되는 곡이었기에 다양한 아티스트가 자주 커버했고, 시간이 지나면서 자연스럽게 전 세계적으로 크리스마스 캐롤의 하나로 인식되었다.

 

1945년 Vaughn Monroe가 RCA Record(현 SONY MUSIC에 인수됨)에서 처음으로 녹음한 이 곡은 1946년 1월 말부터 2월까지 빌보드 Best Seller Music 차트에서 No.1을 차지하며 많은 인기를 얻었다.

 

 

이후로 많은 아티스트들이 커버했는데, Frank Sinitra는 1950년 이 곡을 싱글로 발매 하여 또한 많은 사랑을 받았다.
