젊은시절을 보면 80년대의 전형적인 미국 젊은이 느낌이 가득했던 그는 후에 알게 되었지만, 놀랍게도 폴리네시안이었고, 나이가 들기전에는 오히려 스페니쉬 혹은 이탈리안으로 보이기까지 한다.
