* 런던의 길드홀 음악원에서 오페라 가수가 되기 위한 수업을 받았지만, 약속된 오페라 무대를 버리고 돌연 대중가수로 변신했다고 한다.

* 1982년 발표한 Midnight Blue는 대단히 히트를 쳐서 500만장의 놀라운 앨범 판매를 기록했고, 벨기에, 네델란드, 스페인, 스칸디나비아, 호주, 포르투칼등에서 챠트 1위를 기록했는데, 특히 캐나다에서는 싱글과 앨범 모두가 플레티넘을 기록하기도 했다.

* Louise Tucker는1983년에 두번째 음반 'After The Storm'을 발표하였으며, 이 음반에서 'Dancing by Moonlight'을 히트시킨후 오페라 무대로 복귀하였다

 

* Midnight Blue 이 곡은 베토벤의 피아노 소나타 8번인 비창(Grand Sonate Pathetique)의 2nd Movement의 멜로디에 가사를 입힌 곡으로 곡이 끝날때까지 귀를 뗄 수 없을 정도로 대단히 매력적인 곡인데,

 

* 사실 베토벤의 8번인 비창(Grand Sonate Pathetique) 자체가 homophonic한 곡이기 때문이 아닐까 싶다.
