"Paint My Love"는 Michael Learns to Rock의 네 번째 정규 앨범 <Nothing To Lose>에 수록된 곡으로, 앨범의 리드 싱글로 발매되어 많은 사랑을 받았다. 이 곡은 Jascha Richter가 작곡하고 Dorte Andersen 과 Martin Loft 가 연주했던, 1996년 Dansk Melodi Grand Prix의 최종 우승곡 "Kun med dig"를 영어로 각색한 곡이다.
이 곡은 동아시아 사람들의 정서에 딱 맞춰진듯한 곡으로, 덴마크 차트 4위, 스위스 차트 27위를 기록한 이외에 동아시아 지역에서 많은 사랑을 받았다.
동아시아 지역에서 유독 많은 사랑을 받아서 였을까, 이 곡은 정규 4집 앨범이 발매되기 1년전인 1996년 밴드의 컴필레이션 음반이었던 <Greatest Hits> 앨범의 아시아 버전에 먼저 수록되었었는데, 앨범 이름조차 <Paint My Love>로 출시되었었다
90년대까지만 해도 거실 오디오, 책상이나 책장 몇칸을 당당히 차지하고 있었고, 2000년 초반까지도 많이 쓰였건만... 이제는 클래식한 유물이 되어버린 카세트 테이프.
