"Sovereign Light Café"는 영국의 얼터너티브 록 밴드 Keane의 네 번째 스튜디오 앨범 <Strangeland>에 수록되어 세 번째 싱글로 발매된 노래로, 밴드 멤머들(Tim Rice-Oxley, Tom Chaplin, Richard Hughes, Jesse Quin)이 작곡하고 Dan Grech-Marguerat이 프로듀싱 하였다.

이 곡은 실제 카페가 위치한 East Sussex에 있는 Bexhill-on-Sea 타운밴드 멤버들이 자란 곳과 가까운 Battle 타운에서 영감을 받아 작곡되었다고 한다. 고향을 배경으로 곡을 만드는 것을 보니 그들도 나이가 들어가는 것이겠지. 

 

뮤직 비디오는 2012년 5월 30일에 공개되었는데, Bexhill-on-Sea에서 촬영되었으며 Lindy Heymann이 감독했다. 비디오에서는 밴드 멤버들이 다양한 사람들 '댄서, 곡예사, 바이커, 그리고 Heathfield Silver Band에 둘러싸여 마을을 산책하는 모습을 보여준다. 영상 말미에는 밴드 멤버들과 모든 출연자들이 소버린 라이트 카페 커피숍 밖에서 만나 단체 사진을 찍는 것으로 끝을 맺는다.
