Queen의 맴버 Freddie Mercury의 싱글곡으로, 1985년 앨범 <Mr. Bad Guy>에 수록되어 발매되었고, 싱글로도 발배되었다. Freddie Mercury 사후 Queen이 디스코 음악인 이 곡을 10년만에 Rock버전으로 Re-work하여 1995년 앨범 <Made in Heaven>에 수록했다.
사실 1985년의 오리지널 원곡은 Disco버전이지만, Queen의 이름으로 1995년 발매된 Rock버전의 인지도가 압도적으로 유명하기에 대중의 인지도는 Queen의 Rock버전 음원이 높다.
사실 이 곡은 폭발적인 인기를 끌었던 일본을 대표로 동아시아권에서 유독 많은 사랑을 받았고 정작 서구권에서의 인기는 생각보다 낮은 편이었고, Freddie Mercury는 활동 당시 이 곡을 라이브로 부른 적도 없었는데, 동아시아 지역에서의 높은 인기로 인해서 Freddie Mercury 사후 라이브 무대에서 연주가 되곤 하는데, 일본에서는 폴 로져스(Paul Bernard Rodgers)가 보컬을 소화했고, 한국 공연에서는 에덤 램버트(Adam Mitchel Lambert)가 소화했다.
* 번외로 Queen의 자전적 영화인 Bohemian Rhapsody에서 Freddie Mercury가 솔로 데뷔 후 피아노로 작곡하는 씬에서 이 곡의 멜로디가 짧게 스쳐지나간다.
*인간적으로 Freddie Mercury를 좋아하진 않지만, 아이러니 하게도 그의 음악적 재능이 너무도 탁월했기에 남겨진 그의 노래들을 사랑하며 그 또한 애증 할 수 밖에 없는 것은 아이러니컬 하다.
