이 곡은 영국의 멀티 악기 연주자 Mike Oldfield가 작곡하고 연주한 노래로, 1983년 5월 Virgin Records 에서 싱글로 발매되었으며 같은 해 앨범 <Crises> 에 포함 되어 유럽 전역의 여러 차트에서 1위를 차지한 히트 곡이다.
한국인에게도 너무나 친숙한 이 곡의 보컬은 1980년부터 Mike Oldfield와 협업해왔던 스코틀랜드의 보컬리스트 Maggie Reilly가 맏았는데, Oldfield의 가장 성공적인 싱글이 되었다. 사실 실제 Performer는 Maggie 였지만, 당시에는 피쳐링이라는 개념도 없던 시절이고 객원 보컬이었기에 Mike Oldfield의 이름으로만 발표가 되었었다.
