Barry Manilow의 1984년 재즈 앨범 <2:00AM Paradise Cafe>에 수록되어 그해 빌보드 Adult Contemporary 차트에서 6위에 오르는 등 많은 사랑을 받았던 곡이다.

​

이 곡은 미국의 작곡가이자 작사가였던 John Herndon Mercer(Johnny Mercer) 가 생전에 완성하지 못했던 작업 이었는데, 그의 사 후에 미망인 Ginger Mehan Mercer는 그 가사를 Berry Manilow에게 전하며 곡을 완성해 달라고 부탁했고, Berry는 그 가사에 곡을 붙이고 프로듀싱까지 맏아 앨범에 수록했다고 전해진다.

그 이후로 이 곡은 Rebecca Parris, Kevin Mahogany, Rosemary Clooney, Nancy Wilson, Betty Buckley, Audrey Morris, and Megon McDonough and Nancy LaMott 등 많은 아티스트들이 커버했다.

 

또한 Modern Talking으로 유명한 Thomas Anders 는 1997년 앨범 Live Concert 에 자신의 버전을 녹음했다.
