"Cold Heart (Pnau remix)"는 영국의 싱어송라이터인 Elton John의 협업 앨범인 <The Lockdown Sessions>의 수록곡으로 Elton John & Bernie Taupin & Nicholas Littlemore & Peter Mayes & Sam Littlemore가 함께 만들었고, 호주의 트리오 PNAU가 프로듀싱 하였다.

빌보드 HOT 100에서는 2위까지 올랐으며, 빌보드 Adult Contemporary 1위를 비롯하여, 영국, 캐나다, 호주, 뉴질랜드, 폴란드, 벨기에, 헝가리, 아이슬란드를 포함한 14여개 국가에서 차트 1위를 차지하였고 월드와이드 세일즈로 6백만 유닛이 넘는 판매고를 올리는등 전세계적으로 크게 성공하였다.

 

 

Elton John은 이 곡으로 무려 16년만에 영국차트에서 1위를 차지하기도 했는데, 제 42회 브릿 어워드에서 올해의 노래로 노미네이트 되었고, 2022 빌보드 뮤직 어워드에서는 Top Dance/Electronic Song 부문을 수상했다.

 

PNAU는 Elto John의 1972년작 "Rocket Man", 1989년작 "Sacrifice", 1983년작 "Kiss the Bride" 그리고 1976년작 "Where's the Shoorah?"를 MashUp 하여 "Cold Heart (Pnau REMIX)"를 훌륭하게 만들어 냈다.

Evening Standard의 David Smyth는 이 곡을 두고 "a particularly slick updating of classic Elton John".(엘튼 존의 특히 매끄러운 업데이트)라고 호평했고,
