"Heat Waves"는 영국의 인디 록 밴드 Glass Animals의 정규 3집 <Dreamland>의 수록곡으로 팀의 주축인 Dave Bayley가 작사,작곡,프로듀싱 하였다.

 

 

빌보드 HOT 100에서 5주 연속으로 1위를 차지한 것을 비롯하여 캐나다, 호주, 체코, 인도, 스위스등 8여개국에서 차트 1위를 차지 하였으며, 영국, 독일, 폴란드, 벨기에, 그리스, 말레이시아를 비롯한 20여개국에서 TOP 10을 기록하며 전세계적으로 차트를 석권했고, Spotify에서 17억회에 가까운 스트리밍을 기록하였으며, 유튜브에서 3억5천만회 이상의 조회수를 기록하는등 상업적으로 대성공하였다.
