Chicago의 Peter Cetera가 작사, 작곡한 곡으로 밴드의 8번째 스튜디오 앨범 <X>에 수록되어 1976년 본 앨범의 2번째 싱글로 발매되었다. 이 곡은 1976년 10월 빌보드 HOT 100 No.1위를 차지하며 밴드의 첫 No.1 히트곡을 안겨주었고 , 영국, 호주, 아일랜드, 캐나다, 네덜란드 등 여러 국가에서 차트 1위를 차지하며 국제적으로도 가장 큰 히트를 기록했다.

 

 

이 싱글은 미국에서만 1천4백만장이 넘는 판매고를 기록할 정도로 메가 히트를 기록했으며, 그래미에서 Best Arrangement Accompanying Vocalist 와 Best Pop Vocal Performance를 수상한다. 이 곡을 기점으로 7집때 영입되어 함께 하기 시작했던 Peter Cetera의 작곡 능력이 점점 빛을 보게 된다.

 

 

 

 

PopMatters의 작가 Zachary Houle에 따르면, "뉴욕에서는 이 노래가 각기 다른 4개 방송국에서 동시에 송출될 정도로 인기가 있었다."고 한다.

 

 

하지만 테리 카스를 비롯한 일부 시카고 멤버들은 기존에 자신들이 추구하던 브라스 음악이 아닌 발라드가 1위를 한것게 대해 탐탁치 않아 했다고 전해진다.

 

 

하지만, 이 곡을 기점으로 데뷔때부터 쭈욱 록 음악에 관악기를 사용하는 브라스 밴드로써 재즈 느낌이 물씬 나는 Jazz Rock이라는 센세이션한 음악을 위주로 해왔던 밴드의 음악적 분위기는, 그들만의 특유점이자 장기인 관악기의 사용이 줄어들어버리게 되었고, 그로 인해 1980년대부터 90년대 초까진 관악기를 최대한 자제한 Soft Rock, Power Balad 등의 대중 지향적이고, 서정적인 노래들을 메인으로 바뀌게 된다.
